Description: Undermine is a simple Windows 95/98 SMTP Client. It allows you to specify a recipient, a from email address and name, an SMTP server, and topic (subject). You can also choose a signature file as well as use a built in address book. My main problem with this, is that it is an external program which is accessed through an mIRC script and an additional external program. This program could most likely be done in one single 30k mIRC script and could probably do things such as using mIRC's built-in address book.

). The addon also comes with an internal help file and FAQ (2 FAQ's at that ;-) ). The search method for the addon does seem to work quite well. It's quick, easy, and painless. Although, mIRC has problems doing this type of routine, the addon hardly runs into much trouble. I also tried doing: /search c:\mirc\ *.txt and the addon did not handle the alias the way I had thought it would. In the menus on the dialog, I went to View/Code Guide and nothing came up. I'm not sure what this was suppose to do at all. I looked at the coding and saw that it was looking for a file called: 'code.htm' but I have yet to find it. AnnoyBlocker

Description: Addon that basically blocks private messages containing "stats", "asl" or "a/s/l", with a custom message and the option to temporarily ignore the user if you so choose. You also have the same possibility for private messages and notices containing the "#" sign, the principle being that they are advertisements of course. ^_^ The addon contains a pretty complete readme file (setup, description, contact info, etc.) and is easily manipulated, thanks to its dynamic popups and its dialog setup window. The addon works for the most part and the author tries to accomodate different tastes by giving you a bit of control over the display options and by allowing you to add people to the user list (unaffected list, if you will) so that they can still talk to you without being bothered by the addon. However, there are a few bugs. For instance, I get "* /auser: insufficient parameters" when I try to add someone to the unaffected list (it should be /guser). Anon-Mailer

Description: Addon for sending email via mIRC through a dialog interface. The author included a short readme.txt file explaining on how to use the addon. The script also gives you a few instructions on how to use the addon. There are a few default pop servers included but it won't allow you to save your own pop server (you have to re-enter it each time). While it's a definite improvement from the previous version, there are still a few bugs and areas to improve within the script. The author has fixed the single-line only bug and has also included instructions on how to change lines. As a sidenote, I suggest rephrasing it .. you can use Ctrl + Tab, etc. in addition to simply Ctrl + Enter. There should also be a few more email options such as CC: or BCC:, things that are very frequently used. The actual email that is sent definitely lacks headers. It will show you the subject line but that's it. If you use a "email" client to look at it, you'll see that it won't show the email address that this mail is comin

Anti-Spam

Description: Addon script that basically intercepts some types of spam, displays the fact that it did in a custom window and allows you to retrieve all the information on the spam using a dialog or popups if you are so inclined. It will automatically close the query window of the spammer. The readme file is included in the zip file. It has installation instructions, a description of the addon, some tips and contact information. The addon is fairly easy to install and to use, thanks to its popups, its custom window and its dialog window. While it does do what it has been coded to do, I feel that it lacks a bit of efficiency or just all around .. completeness, for the lack of a better word. For example, the addon blocks query windows (but not just plain messages or notices). It blocks .com and .net, but it doesn't block .org. So in other words, a place where the user gets to choose what he is going to block would be nice. Also, imho, the custom window should be optional. The coding is okay, a bit too many sl
